Slide and swap gems on a grid to clear the board in this puzzle classic. Each move swaps two adjacent jewels to create rows or columns of three or more matching stones which then disappear. The goal is to keep the grid from filling completely while scoring points for each match. The ColecoVision version plays it straight with no frills just the core matching mechanics in single player mode. This 2002 port strips away modern bells and whistles but retains the simple addictive challenge that made the formula popular. The grid gets progressively tighter as the game progresses creating a steady tension between strategy and luck. While newer versions add powerups and themes this version focuses purely on the puzzle solving itself. Players who grew up with arcade cabinets might recognize the same sharp clicky controls and tactile feedback that defined early puzzle games.
