Beraltors is an indie action game where you collect and switch between creatures called Beraltors to navigate a large world. Each of these monsters has distinct abilities like teleporting or poisoning enemies which lets you tackle challenges in varied ways. The single player or co op experience centers on rescuing a captured parent while unlocking new creatures to access previously blocked areas. Split screen mode adds to the chaos as you and a friend bounce between characters in real time. The game offers over 70 unique Beraltors each with their own animations and skills alongside more than 70 attacks that change how you fight and explore. Players spend roughly 15 hours weaving through the bizarre narrative while experimenting with combinations of creatures and abilities. The co op focus and sheer variety of playable options make it stand out among similar titles despite a release in 2019 that might have flown under some radars.
