This title brings the spinning top action to the handheld screen as a single player focus. You launch your bey and set it against computer opponents in a series of battles. The gameplay relies on timing and choosing the right launcher strategy to knock rivals out of the arena. Each match feels fast paced with simple controls that mimic the physical toy experience without needing extra hardware. It stands out mostly because it was a Japan exclusive release for this platform. Most western players never got a chance to see this version unless they imported the cartridge. Hudson Soft handled the development and packed enough variety into the mode list to keep things moving. While the roster is smaller than later entries, the core fighting loop remains solid for fans of the franchise who want more content on the Game Boy Color.
