You’ve probably never controlled a backhoe like this before. BH Trials strips away traditional mechanics, no gears no brakes no steering. Instead you use the digger’s articulated arm to lurch forward sideways or fling yourself over obstacles. The physics feel loose and unpredictable which makes every movement a twitchy puzzle. Play alone or with up to three others in co-op mode where coordination is key. The goal isn’t speed but survival as you awkwardly navigate terrain that constantly threatens to toss you off a cliff or into a ditch. What really grabs attention is how little control you actually have. The learning curve is steep but mastering the clunky motions is oddly satisfying. Online co-op adds chaos as miscommunication between players turns simple tasks into disasters. Reviews highlight the game’s absurdity and the joy of laughing through frustration. It’s not about realism, it’s about embracing the ridiculousness of a four-legged backhoe that moves like it’s drunk. If you’ve ever wanted to dig your way through a physics nightmare this is your spot.
