Birds & Bombs puts you in the shoes of a brave bird soldier tasked with saving the president's daughter from a haunted mansion full of ghosts. You control a slingshot using the DSi stylus to aim your trajectory and launch bombs at floating spooks. The tricky part is that ghosts only take damage when you toss a bomb directly into their open mouths. You will need to bounce projectiles off walls and furniture to find those openings while managing a finite supply of explosives in each level. The game features two main ways to play, including a story campaign and a tougher Challenge Mode where bombs are even scarcer. Players have logged over 12 million levels completed on PlayPile, showing that the replay value is solid for puzzle fans who enjoy mastering precise angles. The difficulty ramps up quickly as you face more enemies and tighter spaces, but figuring out the right bounce path feels satisfying once you get it right. There are no power-ups to save you if your aim slips, so precision is everything here.
