Black Trail is a virtual reality first-person shooter set during the violent gold rush of the American West. You play as two distinct characters, a grizzled bounty hunter and a skilled Native warrior, each chasing the same mysterious artifacts through a war-torn landscape. The game blends fast-paced combat with open-ended exploration. You’ll navigate hostile territories, use historically accurate weapons, and adapt to changing situations as you uncover secrets and fight off enemies. The split narrative lets you switch between perspectives, revealing how their separate journeys affect the larger conflict. With its focus on dynamic action and environmental storytelling, Black Trail stands out for its engaging VR mechanics and branching scenarios. Launching on SteamVR and Meta Quest devices in April 2024, it offers a gritty, fast-paced take on a historical setting. The game’s mix of intense firefights and stealthy infiltration gives players room to approach challenges creatively. Storyline

It’s the gold rush era. Native people attacked the Snake Canyon mine just a few days after white men discovered ancient artifacts. Jack, an old bounty hunter, and White Eagle, a well-respected warrior are both going after the same artifacts for different reasons.
