Blox is a puzzle platformer where you shift blocks to build paths through tight spaces. The goal is to reach the far edge of each level but movement has strict rules. You can fall from any height but only climb upward one block at a time. This creates a tension between momentum and precision. Most obstacles require placing blocks in just the right spot to unlock new routes forward. Progress relies on trial and error but also careful spatial reasoning. The game updates the block-moving logic from a 1990s TI-83 classic with modern visuals and controls. Sharpless512 released it for free on PC in late 2016. A small community has kept it alive through user-created levels adding to the base 40. Reviews on modding forums highlight its elegant simplicity. It remains a niche title but one that satisfies with its pure puzzle focus. The single-player format makes it easy to pick up and put down between quick sessions.
