Böbl casts you as a bubble navigating a submerged temple full of shifting rooms and hidden paths. You'll dive through water-filled chambers ride pipes upward and rely on buoyancy to bounce between platforms. The goal is simple reach the end while collecting ducks scattered throughout the level. Controls are minimal but precise press to sink release to float. The environment itself becomes a puzzle as you learn to balance movement and momentum. Made in one month for the 2019 NESdev competition Böbl packs clever level design into a short runtime. The physics-based gameplay feels surprisingly responsive for a homebrew title. With just 90 minutes of playtime and a charmingly quirky art style it's a bite-sized challenge that's easy to overlook but rewarding to master. The duck-hunting side quest adds extra incentive to revisit tricky sections.
You're a bubble, water is your friend and solid blocks kill you. Hold A to dive, then release and let buoyancy handle the rest. Let's find all the lost duckies!
