Boogerman is a 1997 Famicom platformer developed by Super Game. It tasks players with navigating side-scrolling levels while battling enemies and solving basic puzzles. Combat relies on a simple but repetitive attack system balanced by endless ammunition. The levels follow a scrambled sequence compared to the source material and strip back character abilities to a bare minimum. Each stage ends with a boss fight leading to the final confrontation. This port diverges heavily from its predecessors with stripped content and abrupt structure. Unlike later entries in the series it lacks a proper conclusion resetting after the third boss. As one of Super Game's many unofficial releases it carries a cult reputation among retro platforming collectors. The game's minimal polish and odd design choices make it a curious but brief challenge.
