You play as Max a teenager with a jetpack zooming through space to rescue your brother and stop a cosmic threat. Blast through procedurally generated levels where each boss fight feels fresh and chaotic. Upgrade your gear collect quirky hats and tweak your loadout between waves of enemies. The controls are tight and the pacing never lets up making it easy to lose track of time. The game leans into its goofy charm with colorful dialogue and absurd enemy designs. While it doesn’t reinvent the shooter genre the endless variety of bosses keeps things engaging. Community feedback highlights the replayability though some note the difficulty spikes can be jarring. Released in 2017 it still holds up as a fun pick for quick sessions or marathon runs.

Storyline

Boss 101 is the story about a boy, his jetpack and MILLIONS of randomly generated bosses. It’s also about friendship, family and fun. Join Max and S.T.E.V.E. as they adventure across the galaxy battling the baddies and saving the day. Boss 101 is an arcade shooter and much more! We have procedurally generated levels, bosses and gameplay. On top of that we’re bringing you as much humor and entertainment as possible while you play.
