You play as a generic adventurer climbing a generic mountain to collect generic loot boxes. Each level has you bouncing between platforms while shooting other boxes to unlock better boxes. The joke is the gameplay here, literalizing the controversy around randomized microtransactions by making them the central mechanic. You’ll repeat the same jump-shoot-loop sequence hundreds of times while the game mocks its own pointlessness. The meta humor lands best for folks who’ve ranted about pay-to-win mechanics or cringey gacha systems. At 90 minutes of content, it’s a brief but pointed critique wrapped in a intentionally grating loop. Community ratings on Steam average 82% with many calling it “the most fun I’ve ever had being annoyed.” Developer Ludo Land has released a new entry every year since 2014, this one adds a ski slope and a disco ball boss.
