You play as Ed Arnold, a delivery guy stuck dropping off a package at the Brain Hotel during its chaotic super-villain convention. This point-and-click adventure tasks you with navigating absurdly over-the-top rooms filled with eccentric guests and environmental puzzles. The comic book aesthetic leans into slapstick humor and overdrawn character designs, making each interaction feel like a panel from a zany graphic novel. The updated version polishes the original Flash game’s core loops with crisper visuals and smoother performance, though the core jokes and challenges remain firmly intact. The 2004 original built a cult following for its irreverent tone and clever puzzle design, and this remake preserves those strengths while modernizing the presentation. Players praise the absurdity of it all, think sentient elevators and villainous spa treatments, as well as the streamlined controls. With a runtime of around six hours, it’s a brisk but satisfying romp through a world where logic takes a backseat to lunacy. The game’s Steam page shows a largely positive reception, with many highlighting how the updated art style makes the chaos easier to follow without losing the original’s chaotic charm.
