"Sphinx is doing that action-platformer simple-puzzles thing of a lot of the games from this original era. He runs, jumps, swings a sword, gets a bunch of items, all that jazz. Meanwhile, the Mummy(of a young prince Tutankhamen, to be precise), being already dead, has this Wario Land style going on. He can face everything from electrocutuion to crushing, and endure all of it as it puts him into crazy specific states for more complicated puzzles. It's an interesting mix of setups, that keeps either one from overstaying its welcome too badly. Just when you tire of figuring out a complex puzzle for the Mummy, you get to switch back to Sphinx and do something more straightforward and punchy, and vice versa."

About
You wake up with a blank mind and a strange girl at your side. Masamitsu Kanae claims you’re bound by a dark bargain with her uncle, leaving you with a curse that lets you rewrite others’ thoughts. This RPG casts you as a puppet master navigating a world where every interaction hinges on manipulation. Combat and dialogue revolve around bending people to your will, with choices shaping relationships and outcomes. The story unfolds through branching scenarios, blending schoolyard politics with supernatural stakes. The hook lies in its twisted power dynamic. You’re not just making decisions, you’re erasing them from others. Early player chatter hints at a divisive but clever system that forces you to weigh control against trust. While the premise leans into edgy themes, the gameplay stays grounded in classic JRPG structure, offering a mix of strategy and moral ambiguity.
