You play as Corus Valott after waking from deep freeze to a shattered world. Your shelter is wrecked, the surrounding area reduced to rubble and strange formations. Scavenging for supplies and fixing your base lets you venture into the wasteland. Each exploration mixes survival tasks with cryptic clues about the disaster that erased civilization. Dialogue and environmental details hint at a larger mystery without spelling it out. The game leans into its quiet dread and slow-burn storytelling. Sparse text logs and eerie visuals suggest a collapse tied to advanced tech and human error. While combat is absent, tension comes from navigating unstable ruins and piecing together fragmented history. A smaller indie title with a runtime around six to eight hours, it focuses on mood over action.
You awaken as Corus Valott, long lost in cryogenic slumber, to find your shelter damaged by unknown circumstances. The land and settlements around you have crumbled to ruin, broken buildings and jagged shards all that remains. Confused and isolated, you're compelled to repair the shelter, explore the ruins and scavenge your surroundings, in hopes of uncovering – or perhaps avoiding – the uncomfortable truth of what has transpired.
