"'Breathedge' is far from your normal, everyday, run-of-the-mill survival games for a magnitude of hysterical reasons that are worth discovering for yourself. Although the game starts a little slow, the constant slapstick dad jokes break up the mundane repetition that players normally encounter when starting a new survival game. It will take a little bit of the game to build up steam and really get going but it's a necessary element that pays off later when players are required to solve more creative puzzles. Breathedge is one of those games you can play casually at your own pace and doesn't require long consecutive amounts of time to play. Sparring 15-20 minutes here and there is all that's required for a steady progression through the game but still very enjoyable if you've got ample time up your sleeve as well. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys easter egg styled dad jokes or wants something oddly rewarding to play at a casual pace."

About

Breathedge: Cosmic Cluck is a VR-driven RPG that swaps traditional space opera tropes for absurdity. You follow a grizzled protagonist through a universe packed with rogue chickens, intergalactic kebab stands, and sentient coffin robots. Combat feels clunky but emphasizes motion controls for hacking and shooting. The world blends 1950s Soviet aesthetics with slapstick sci-fi, think mayonnaise-based alchemy and hamster-powered smoothies. Exploration in VR adds a tactile layer, though the wonky physics can break immersion. The game’s chaotic charm divides players. Critics loved its eccentricity, with Impulsegamer calling it “hysterical” and GameGrin praising its “coffin robots in bowler hats.” User reviews highlight wild moments like “stars brushing ag” (cut off mid-sentence). OpenCritic’s 69/100 and 45.83% recommendation rate suggest it’s polarizing but memorable. If you’re into offbeat humor and don’t mind rough edges, the VR novelty and bizarre storytelling might hook you. Others may find the execution as jarring as a kebab in a black hole.

OMG, Breathedge: Cosmic Cluck is THE MOST EPIC space RPG I've ever played! The VR immersion is cray-cray real, like I could feel the stars brushing against my face (or was that just my hair blowing in the AC?) The story about this mysterious 'Man' is wild—halfway through I was li...
