Breed is a 2004 PC shooter where you lead a squad through 18 missions across tropical islands, Antarctica, and outer space. Control switches between squad members and vehicles like tanks, buggies, and jets. Weapons include plasma guns, rifles, and grenades. Each mission requires adapting tactics to the terrain and enemy placements. The story follows your crew returning to Earth in 2610 only to find it conquered by the alien Breed. The initial war was a distraction while they took over. Environments are fully destructible, with missions designed for dynamic play. Developed by Brat Designs, it offers a straightforward combat experience with a focus on varied settings and vehicle mechanics. Released in April 2004, it leans into action over simulation, with a clear goal in each level.

Storyline

Breed is set in the year 2610. After a long and costly war with the robotic alien race nick-named the Breed, your warship returns to Earth only to discover that the entire war only was a diversion. Now Earth has fallen into the hands of the Breed and only you and your men can stop it...
