BS F-Zero Grand Prix 2: Practice is a follow up to the original F-Zero racing game released on the Satellaview. Players race through five tracks four carried over from the first game plus a new course called Mute City IV. The single player mode focuses on speed and precision with minimal distractions. Each track features the same futuristic aesthetic and tight handling as its predecessor but adds slight variations to the layout and obstacles. This version skips the SoundLink features of the main sequel but still offers a streamlined experience for fans of the series. The Satellaview platform gives it a unique place in racing game history though few outside Japan would have encountered it at launch. Retro racers might appreciate the short but polished track list and the chance to revisit classic F-Zero layouts with minor tweaks.
