You're riding a wakeboard not a jet ski in this 2000 PlayStation oddity. The boat pulls you forward in a fixed direction so your job is to stay upright and grind the rails while the world scrolls past. Two modes split the action: one has you racing checkpoints and collecting rings while the other lets you spam tricks in a looped section. The control scheme is tight for a stick game but the camera often feels like a liability. The trick system is the main event with 45 different moves to string together. It rewards fast button mashing and precise timing more than real athleticism. Critics called it a "waterborne Tony Hawk" but with less polish. A cult relic from the early 2000s it remains playable if you can ignore the dated visuals.
