Bushside Rangers casts you as Vera, a young girl trapped in an abandoned nature park that’s grown twisted and hungry. As she wanders its overgrown trails, time stretches unnaturally, and she must solve environmental puzzles to progress. But the park’s old mascots, once cheerful but now corrupted, stalk her every move. You’ll balance stealth and quick thinking to avoid encounters, while figuring out why the park refuses to let her leave. The game leans into its eerie tone, with once-innocuous details like rusted playground equipment or faded trail signs feeling off in subtle ways. Combat is sparse but tense, emphasizing evasion over confrontation. Early builds impressed with a runtime of around five hours, packing a satisfyingly compact but unsettling story. Its blend of survival mechanics and psychological unease has already drawn comparisons to indie horror classics.

Storyline

Bushside Rangers is an indie survival horror game which places you in the shoes of the reluctant Vera, a young girl who breaks into the abandoned "Bushside Rangers Nature Park" in an attempt to reminisce over it's abrupt closing years ago. Unfortunately for her though, the time she spends in the park becomes longer and longer as she drifts towards the rabbit hole she's slowly but surely intertwining herself into. Throughout her visit to the nature-ridden park, she's forced to fend off against it's old mascots and other horrific foes. Even after years, they're still alive... and they're starving.
