The game’s standout is its unlockable "Another World" mode, which reworks levels with tougher challenges and swaps backdrops for retro Bubble Bobble-style visuals. Notably, the 1995 North American arcade release altered the game significantly: original characters Bub and Bob became generic hands, backgrounds were swapped out for 15 new loops, and audio changes stripped voice lines. Despite these tweaks, the core puzzle mechanics hold up, with a completion rate of 68% on arcade leaderboards. The Neo Geo and console versions retained the Japanese design, making regional differences a curious footnote for collectors.
