You play Pig Mock, a pig tasked with collecting eggs that fall from floating Thunder Pants creatures. Swing your frying pan to catch eggs midair and throw them back up. Hit a red egg at just the right angle to knock a Thunder Pant from the sky. Avoid tripping over random mounds that reset your momentum or getting smushed by Uncle Dust-pan, a cleaning robot that grows as it gobbles up eggshells. The mole that digs up from below later rounds is a sneaky pain. Each round ends when you snag 15 eggs, but losing eggs to uncle or getting hit by falling debris drains your lives fast. The game escalates in difficulty by adding more clouds, aggressive moles, and denser terrain hazards. While simple at first, precise timing and spatial awareness become critical as levels progress. Released in 1983 on MSX by HAL Laboratory, it’s a compact but mechanically rich action title. Players who stick around for all 15 rounds often find themselves chewing nails.
