Capcom Bowling is a straightforward arcade bowling game that lets up to four players take turns trying to knock down pins. You use a trackball to aim and set the power then hit buttons to add spin. It's all about timing and angle with simple physics that make each roll feel responsive. The goal is just to get the highest score with splits and strikes adding to the challenge. What sets this apart is the hardware. Some cabinets had a birch finish that looked like real lanes with a big trackball that rolls smoothly. Later versions even came in a lower cocktail table style. A different beer-branded edition called Coors Light Bowling came out the next year. These arcades versions were mostly conversions but a few had special setups. The trackball control feels good and the simple scoring keeps games fast. It's a no-frills sports sim that's easy to pick up and play.
