Each move can capture multiple pieces at once, shifting the board's balance with every turn. The game ends when all spaces are filled, with victory going to the player with the most tokens. Optional timed modes and time handicaps add tension, while six difficulty settings let you tailor the challenge to your skill level. Simple to grasp but deep in strategy, Capture blends quick thinking with long-term planning. Its single player and multiplayer modes make it easy to play alone or with others, while the adjustable skill levels keep the game fresh for beginners and experts alike. Though released in 1982, the core gameplay remains sharp, with many players still enjoying its straightforward yet challenging design. The Arcadia 2001 version preserves the original’s clean mechanics, offering a test of wit that still holds up after four decades.
