About

Case #1472 drops you into a dimly lit room with a woman whose secrets won’t stay buried. You play a silent interrogator, piecing together fragments of a story through carefully chosen questions. Each dialogue option feels like flipping through a half-rotten journal, some answers lead to dead ends, others unlock hidden layers. The lack of handholding means you’re constantly guessing at your own role in the mystery, whether you’re a detective, a witness, or something else entirely. The game’s strength lies in its tangled web of half-truths and misdirection. Every line of conversation branches into new uncertainties, and early decisions can reshape later revelations. While the pacing leans slow, the final third delivers sharp twists that feel earned. Early playtest feedback hints at a 78% completion rate among those who stick through the ambiguity. Not all answers are spelled out, but that’s the point, this is a puzzle where missing pieces are part of the design.

Storyline

Imagine you enter a room and there is a mysterious woman sitting in front of you. The lightning in the room is so poor you can hardly see her face. Who is she? As the player starting up this game for the first time, you truly will not know anything about the situation you've been thrown into. Try and ask her questions (anything that you might find would be useful to ask) in order to see if you can understand what is going on. Begin with an easy question and see where you go from there.
