Casper is a puzzle arcade game for the Game Boy from 1996. Players progress through levels by completing four mini games in any order followed by two end of level challenges. Three of the main mini games repeat each level but become harder as you advance. The objective is to collect ooze which fuels the Lazarus and serves as a scoring metric. Gameplay focuses on quick thinking and precision as you navigate each mini game's unique mechanics. The game's structure encourages replayability as you optimize your route through the mini games. While the core concepts are simple the difficulty spikes can be punishing. Casual players might find the challenge frustrating but the tight controls and straightforward objectives keep it accessible. No major updates or community features but the Game Boy port holds up for short sessions.
