Čendovy Patálie is a point-and-click adventure with puzzle elements set in Prague and Chotěboř. You play as Čenda, a self-assured detective whose career starts with a tutorial-like training phase before jumping to his seasoned sleuthing years. The story centers on recovering a stolen whale bone from Prague’s National Museum, leading you through landmarks like Wenceslas Square and the Zoo. The game blends investigation with minigames, all narrated in Czech with local flavor. It’s a compact project born from a school assignment but feels more polished than its origins suggest. The game stands out for its quirky protagonist and specific regional setting. Čenda’s brash personality adds humor to the mystery, while real-world locations ground the adventure. Though brief, the pacing balances tutorial and main case smoothly. Players get to navigate both historical sites and small-town Chotěboř, making the most of its limited scope. Storyline

The game at the beginning describes how the protagonist Čenda started his career as a detective (this part is intended as a tutorial and an introduction to the story, the player himself has the option if he wants to advise in this part or he can do it himself as a professional adventure game player), after this "training ” we move in time 10 years later, and Čenda is already solving his cases by himself. He just received a case where the bone of a giant whale was stolen from the National Museum in Prague. That's basically the main plot, trying to figure out who stole the bone and what they did with it. The story takes place in many places - Prague (National Museum, Zoo, Wenceslas Square, etc...), Chotěboř (Chotěboř High School, Falconry).
