This arcade game tasks you with blasting a grid-hopping alien creature before it slithers to the bottom of the screen. You pilot a ship that moves left right up and down firing shots to dismantle its segments. The action unfolds on a simple tile-based layout with the goal of delaying the enemy long enough to avoid a collision. Despite its basic setup the game has a peculiar quirk, joystick inputs are nonfunctional even though key remapping is supported. Released in 1983 it holds up as a no-frills test of reflexes with a retro charm. The lack of modern controls might frustrate some but the core loop remains tight and challenging.
