Champions of Breakfast casts you as a kitchen appliance in a chaotic shoot 'em up. You blast through rooms of the house firing eggs and bacon at rogue appliances that hijacked your breakfast supplies. Each level pits you against absurd foes like laser-equipped remotes and vengeful toasters. The action stays frenetic with power-ups that let you customize your attacks and dodge enemy fire. This indie oddball stands out for its retro pixel art and over-the-top boss fights. The bathtub final boss fight in particular became a fan favorite for its sheer silliness. Released in 2016 it still runs smooth on modern PCs and offers a short but punchy experience.
