Chaotix of Tomorrow is a fan-created role-playing game built with RPG Maker 2000 by developer mightydillo. It follows the Chaotix team including Mighty as they tackle a sci-fi adventure with updated visuals and gameplay tweaks from a 2006 overhaul. Turn-based battles and character-driven storytelling take center stage across a single-player campaign that leans into classic Sonic universe tropes with a small-team charm. The project gained a dedicated following despite its indie roots with many praising its nostalgic appeal and creative use of limited tools. A sequel titled Twisted Mettle emerged later from a different fan team proving the game's lasting impact.
