You play as a Navigator in Terminus, a city figuring out from clashes between reality and a chaotic subconscious realm. Armed with a power called KALEIDO VISION, you lead a crew of bike-riding fighters known as Kaleido RIDER. Their mission: track down Integration Points where monstrous Hysteria breach the world and stop the city’s collapse. Combat uses turn-based strategy, balancing position shifts and weapon swaps as you adapt to each RIDER’s strengths. Between battles, you explore a fractured metropolis, piece together lore about the RIDER’s origins, and manage relationships with your squad, some of whom hide surprising connections to you. What sets it apart is the blend of tactical depth and character-driven moments. The RIDER girls range from students to performers, each with distinct personalities and backstories that unfold through optional interactions. Early trailers hint at narrative risks, including intimate scenes that tie directly to unlocking new abilities. While strategy mechanics feel polished, the game leans heavily into its visual style and emotional beats, which have drawn praise from early playtesters. The soundtrack adds weight, featuring songs by 96Neko that echo the story’s themes of connection and chaos.

Storyline

The story takes place in "Terminus", a futuristic city set in the near future which is being invaded by "Integration." Besides reality, there exists a world of the conscious, known as the Sea of Unconsciousness. Integration occurs when the two worlds collide. The Sea of Unconsciousness is influenced by humanity's negative impulses to create Hysteria, which can invade reality through Integrating Points, causing the rise of large-scale anomalous phenomenon throughout Terminus. Luckily, there exists in the city a number of supernatural girls with unknown origins. They ride motorbikes, wield special weapons, and bravely battle with Hysteria leagues bigger than them. They are called—Kaleido RIDER. Legend has it that if one has the KALEIDO VISION, a RIDER will be able to clearly see Hysteria. To do so, the RIDER have to find a "Navigator" with "KALEIDO VISION" amongst the normal humans. In the game, the player takes on the role of Navigator, receiving KALEIDO VISION due to an accident. Ever since the accident, you have led RIDER, investigated the strange incidents in the city, fought with Hysteria, and slowly uncovered the truth behind RIDER, the world and yourself. The beautiful RIDER girls appearing in the world of Chasing Kaleidorider have diverse identities—magicians, students, rock singers... They hide their identities among humans, silently protecting the city. This first reveal trailer showcases intimate scenes between the beautiful RIDER girls called Prome, Nana, UC, and Adodol with the player. The kissing scene between Prome and the Navigator further indicates that RIDER can gain new powers through intimate contact with the Navigator. What romantic stories will unfold between the other beautiful RIDER girls and the Navigator?
