Chasmal Fear is a first-person shooter horror game that puts you in the driver’s seat of a high-stakes underwater mission. You play through a body camera view, scrambling to manage ammo and gear while fending off creatures that evolve to counter your moves. The single-player campaign has you making tough calls that shape how the story goes, and you can team up with a buddy for co-op runs. The setting is a futuristic undersea base that's gone dark, and you’re part of a military team sent to find out why. What makes Chasmal Fear stand out is the way enemies adapt, forcing you to rethink strategies mid-level. The body cam angle adds tension by making every decision feel immediate and personal. With co-op support, you can split limited resources and tackle challenges together, though the game won’t hold your hand. It’s a tense mix of survival horror and tactical shooting, built with Unreal Engine 5 to keep the visuals sharp even in the darkest corners of the ocean floor.

Storyline

Set in the near future, the first advanced underwater facility has been founded under the waves of the ocean. Built partially above a chasm and inside a massive ocean cliff, this massive underwater city was meant to serve both science as well as provide a new experience for tourists. However recently, the signal has been lost. Military specialist/s equipped with advanced suits and weaponry have been sent to investigate and assess the situation.
