About

Chior drops you in a world you can’t see. Your eyes are out, so you navigate by touch, scent, and sound. Use vibrations to map nearby objects, sniff out dangers ahead, and shout to scare enemies or alert others. Movement is basic but deliberate: step in four directions as you piece together a world through nonvisual cues. The game leans into disorientation, forcing you to adapt to a stripped-down, sensory-driven way of exploring. The standout? How it turns blindness into a mechanic, not just a gimmick. Early reviews praise the creative use of smell to hint at puzzles or threats, and the tension of moving without visual confirmation. With no sight to rely on, every step feels riskier. At 15 hours average playtime, it’s a short but memorable experiment in alternate perception.

Storyline

When you lose your most valuable sense combination of the rest has to do. Feel, scream, smell, manage. The game contains variety of senses implemented as mechanics for the game meant to aid the player throughout their journey. Feel: you feel around your surroundings in order to gather information from your current location. Smell: smell the environment around you in order to get a good indication of what kind of challenges may lay ahead. Scream: scream out loud in order to deter your foes as well as draw attention from others NPCs. Walk: Forwards, Backwards, Left, Right.
