Yes, the story mode may be a bit of a misfire, but with plenty of other single player content to dig into and the promise of 64-player carnage via the online Chocobo GP mode, this is one of the most polished and entertaining kart racers currently available on Switch and, with a free Lite version dropping at launch, you've got nothing to lose by checking it out for yourself before committing to a purchase."

In Chocolat you manage a chaotic chocolate factory line where speed and precision matter. Your job is to sort candy pieces onto moving conveyor belts and slot them into boxes that match their shapes. The catch is the belt ramps up in speed as you play and each dropped piece costs you points. Adding to the stress you must also spot and discard random scraps of garbage that get mixed into the candy stream. What makes Chocolat addictive is its simple yet tense gameplay loop. The 2005 release has held up thanks to its straightforward mechanics and escalating difficulty. With versions on PC PS2 and Android it’s a quick pick for puzzle fans looking for something that tests reflexes as much as problem solving. The lack of frills or story keeps the focus squarely on the challenge of keeping up with the conveyor’s pace.
