Chopper Command is a fast paced arcade shooter where you pilot a military helicopter defending a convoy of trucks from waves of enemy aircraft. Eliminate all attackers to advance balancing firepower and maneuverability while dodging ground fire and missiles. A radar system tracks enemies off screen giving you a tactical edge in this high stakes aerial combat. Play solo or take turns with a friend in local multiplayer. Released on December 31 1982 for the Atari 2600 it stood out with its straightforward yet challenging action and the Long Range Scanner mechanic for spotting hidden threats. Players who hit 10 000 points could submit a screenshot for a limited edition patch fueling competition.
