You play as a circus performer trying to stay airborne in this fast paced arcade game. Your goal is to leap and grab swinging balls while avoiding the ground. Each touchdown brings you closer to elimination, after five failed landings you're out. The simple controls make it easy to jump in but hard to master as the action speeds up. Play solo or take turns with a friend in the two player mode. While clearly inspired by similar titles from the early 80s, Circus stands out for its tight physics and responsive handling. The challenge comes from timing jumps just right between obstacles rather than complex patterns. Players appreciate the short sessions that let you test your reflexes without long commitments. The two player option adds friendly competition that keeps things lively even decades after release.

Storyline

Jump and catch! Be the centre-pot tumbler of the world famous circus! Catch the overhanging balls and score points. Watch out as you fall, for if you land on the ground 5 times, you are hurt and will be fouled.
