ClayFighter: Call of Putty was an unreleased fighting game meant for the Wii and Nintendo DSi. Interplay planned this project as a remake of Sculptor Cut, keeping the original clay characters while updating stage designs. The setup included a story mode to follow the plot, a training area for practice, and multiplayer battles supporting two players. Fighters could also pull off special finishing moves known as Claytalities during these matches. The game never saw a release date despite a planned 2011 launch via WiiWare and DSiWare. Many fans still discuss this title because it promised to bring the clay aesthetic to modern handhelds and consoles with fresh visuals. The community remembers it as a missed opportunity that kept the unique art style alive for a few more years before disappearing. No ratings exist since players never got to try it, leaving only concept art and developer notes to spark interest today.
