Clotilde Soffritti is stranded on an asteroid with a grumpy hermit who won’t stop talking. Your job is to guide her through a series of oddball puzzles and scavenger hunts to repair communication gear and find a way off the rock. The gameplay bounces between inventory-based problem solving and exploring crummy alien environments, all while dealing with the hermit’s increasingly unhinged commentary. Success depends on mixing wit, observation, and a bit of creative theft. The game’s charm comes from its deadpan humor and delightfully petty character dynamics. Players praise the clever writing and the way puzzles tie into the environment’s absurdity, like jury-rigging a rover from scrap or bribing a passing trader with stolen rations. With two distinct endings and a runtime of about four hours, it’s a brisk escape that’s equal parts funny and satisfying. The PC version runs smoothly even on older hardware, and the 8-bit soundtrack adds a retro charm that lingers.
