Cloudberry Kingdom is a platformer with puzzle elements that shifts around you as you play. Levels generate procedurally using custom algorithms adjusting to your skills character traits and physics tweaks. Team up locally or online for co op challenges or go solo against increasingly tricky obstacles. The 2013 release runs on older consoles and PC with a split screen mode that feels surprisingly tight for its age. The game leans into its reputation for punishing difficulty with a tone that winks at the absurdity of its own challenges. Bob the hero and a cast of quirky supporting characters add levity to otherwise grueling platforming sequences. While not a household name it carved out a dedicated fanbase among players who enjoy balancing frustration and triumph. The mix of adaptive design and local multiplayer keeps it feeling fresh even years later.
Unhappily ever after. That’s how it starts. The Orb resurfaces and the classic characters return. Kobbler with his mania, Princess with her endless boredom. It’s only a matter of time before Bob, our hero, shows up to put order back to madness. Three powers struggle for victory and the fate of Cloudberry Kingdom hangs in the balance. What will become of the retired hero, Bob? Will saving Princess one last time win her love? Could true love ever stop Kobbler and the power of the Orb? No, probably not. But hey, it’s worth a shot!
