Cobra is a 1986 shooter/platformer where you play a vigilante cop navigating three distinct stages. Each level, urban city, sunny countryside, and a gritty factory, presents different challenges as you protect a target from waves of enemies. Unique moves like a headbutt attack and collecting temporary weapons hidden in burgers add variety. But you can't rely on firepower for long, each weapon disappears after a short time forcing you to adapt. The game’s charm lies in its quick thinking and timing. Despite its 8-bit simplicity the stage designs keep things fresh. Originally released on Commodore 64 ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC it remains a fast-paced throwback for retro fans. The limited arsenal and short playtime make it feel tight though some may find the difficulty spikes frustrating.

Storyline

Crime is a disease. He's the cure. The Cobra strikes! As vigilante cop, Marion Cobretti of the 'Zombie Squad', you must rescue top fashion model Ingrid Knutsen from an army of psychotic killers and the evil clutches of 'The Night Slasher'.
