Coded Arms: Assault was a first-person shooter project by Konami meant to follow up their PSP title. Players would have controlled an augmented soldier using a specialized visor to scan and tag enemies in real-time combat. The design aimed to bring that handheld formula to home consoles with larger scale battles and improved graphics. Konami officially confirmed the cancellation in May 2008 after rumors had swirled since 2007. Despite the hype, the title never launched on PlayStation 3 or any other platform. This leaves players with only a handful of screenshots and developer notes to go on instead of actual gameplay footage or community ratings.
