About

Cold Lazarus is a single-player indie game that mixes shooting, exploration, and puzzle-solving across floating asteroid islands. You play as a nameless protagonist waking up in a strange world, scrambling to piece together why you’re there. The islands are dotted with quirky settlements, crumbling temples, and creepy labyrinth-like structures. You’ll fight enemies with a variety of weapons, interact with oddball locals, and figure out environmental puzzles to progress. The platforming sections feel tight, and the combat has a satisfying click of gunplay paired with light melee options. The game’s hand-drawn art style stands out, each location feels distinct, from bioluminescent forests to derelict stone ruins. The story unfolds through conversations and scattered notes, hinting at a larger conflict involving mysterious portals disrupting the world. While the narrative isn’t impressive, the setting and character quirks earn praise from early players. It’s a brisk, colorful adventure that leans into whimsy but doesn’t overstay its welcome.
