Condor Attack drops you in a strange mix of ancient and sci-fi warfare. You control a lone fighter armed with a high-tech disintegrator, facing flocks of condors and packs of spider-like creatures in a desolate stone-age world. The simple one-button gameplay focuses on quick reflexes as waves of enemies descend, forcing you to dodge and fire in tight spaces. The pixelated enemies and chunky sprites add to the retro charm, but the action stays fast and frantic. What makes it stick is the oddball setting and the challenge of balancing movement with shooting. While the story is a bit of a stretch, the game leans into its over-the-top premise with gusto. Players familiar with early '80s arcade aesthetics might notice the limited visuals stretch across the short campaign, but the core loop of survival and destruction holds up for quick bursts. Low on polish but high on chaotic fun, it’s a blast from the past with a sci-fi twist.
