Coralina is a retro-inspired RPG where you figure out a mystery that spans multiple dimensions and time periods. You play as a lone investigator navigating shifting environments filled with cryptic clues and environmental puzzles. Each level reimagines its setting with a distinct visual style blending pixel art vector graphics and hand-drawn illustrations. Combat is minimal but strategic focusing on resource management and timing. The game’s most striking feature is its ever-changing art direction which creates progression through aesthetic evolution. The narrative unfolds through environmental storytelling and fragmented logs making players piece together events themselves. With a runtime of around 10-12 hours and multiple endings based on choices made it offers replayability without feeling padded. Available on nearly every current platform including Switch and PS5 it brings its eccentric charm to a wide audience.
