Coreborn is a survival RPG where you navigate a fractured world shaped by war and chaos. You gather resources, build bases, and battle threats in the wilds of Tormentosia while interacting with others in Coreheim, a central hub that doubles as a social nexus. The game blends crafting, combat, and exploration with multiplayer options that let you team up for quests or tackle challenges solo. Its open-ended approach lets you focus on survival, storytelling, or community building, with a focus on collaboration over competition. What sets it apart is its emphasis on cooperative play. While the lore of fallen empires and a devouring world threat adds weight, the real draw is the shared experience of rebuilding in a persistent world. With co-op and MMO modes, it leans into group dynamics more than solo triumphs. The single community vote for "cooperative" vibes hints at its design, though still early, it suggests a space where players might find more value in teamwork than lone conquest.

Storyline

Tormentosia is the name for the land encompassing all known realms. Once, it comprised 36 empires with dozens of diverse races. After the attack of Sorgoth, Devourer of Worlds—and the following war—most of these nations fell victim to devastation. Their inhabitants who survived the bloodshed, fled to the lands yet unfallen. These remaining seven realms—now including the newly formed, joint nation of Coreheim—are as diverse in their flora and fauna as can be imagined. Coreheim lies in the center and houses the Ultracore. Its shield protects the last seven realms from sharing the fate of other nations of Tormentosia at the hand of Sorgoth.
