About

Covenant of Solitude follows Fort, a boy ostracized for his rare "genie blood" that lets him summon and command monsters. Set in a village on the edge of a kingdom, the story unfolds as imperial forces descend, forcing Fort to navigate betrayal, loyalty, and the weight of his power. Combat revolves around turn-based battles where players manage monster allies and enemies, balancing strategy with resource management. The narrative leans into themes of discrimination and identity, with choices affecting relationships and outcomes. The game stands out for its polished visuals, which earned praise as one of Kemco’s most stylized projects. However sound design and music received mixed feedback, with some calling it underwhelming. Available on multiple platforms including mobile and consoles, it offers a self-contained RPG experience with a runtime of around 20, 30 hours. Community reviews highlight its engaging story and tactical depth, though some note pacing issues in later acts.

Storyline

A handful of people possess the power to commune with monsters, and control them at will. Those who are gifted with this ability have been both feared and used as tools. Wherever they go, they are met with hostility and discrimination. In Listy, a village in the Kingdom's farthest corner, a youth named Fort has the genies' blood. Living in an orphanage with his friends Elicia and Legna, Fort is persecuted by the other villagers. One day, however, the Empire invades and the streets run with the blood of innocents. Running to the aid of his friends, Fort is forced to confront the truth of what he is. A truth that will leave him cursing his own blood... Trust and betrayal, friendship, love and hate all tangled together in an unforgettable tale of lives changed forever by the blood of the genies.
