About

You’re a white blood cell battling in a neon-drenched digital immune system. Covid '99 throws 50 players into a chaotic free-for-all where you deflect viruses with a paddle to avoid taking damage while hurling them at opponents. The goal? Outlast everyone by knocking rivals off the map using bouncing pathogens and strategic positioning. Fast-paced and frantic, it blends top-down action with battle royale mechanics as you jockey for dominance in a pixelated lung full of hazards. The retro computer aesthetic and synthwave soundtrack make every match feel like a late-night virus attack on a '90s desktop. With 50-player lobbies and no install required, it’s a browser-based spectacle that leans into its absurd premise without overexplaining. While not a critical darling, its addictive mix of aggression and reflexes keeps players coming back for more pixelated pandemics.

Storyline

A VIRUS KNOWN AS 'COVID' IS SPREADING ACROSS THE 'WORLD WIDE WEB' AND INFECTING PEOPLE THROUGH THEIR COMPUTERS. MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY NOW ALLOWS YOU TO ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL OF IMMUNE SYSTEM CELLS OVER THE INTERNET - YOU MUST USE YOUR WHITE BLOOD CELL PADDLE TO DEFLECT VIRUSES AWAY FROM THE PATIENT'S LUNGS! YOU ARE NOT ALONE- OTHER INTERCELL AGENTS WILL CONTECT TO THE IMMUNE SYSTEM, AND THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED! DESTROY THEM BY SENDING THEM AS MANY VIRUSES AS YOU CAN. YOU MUST BE THE LAST CELL REMAINING TO SAVE THE PATIENT!
