The goal is straightforward: clear the board before getting caught. Two large dots sit in fixed positions, serving as visual markers but otherwise inert. The twist comes when ghosts can pass through them freely, creating moments where you’re forced to choose between risk and reward. Made in 2023 as part of a minimalist programming contest, this game lives in the limitations of its 10-line BASIC code. It runs on the Amstrad CPC, a platform known for punchy 8-bit nostalgia. The ghost AI isn’t complex but feels reactive enough to keep things tense. With no frills and a focus on core mechanics, it’s a quick test of reflexes and route planning.
