About

Crescent Bay is a moody detective story where you investigate a friend’s house turned crime scene. You play John Bishop, someone who can piece together ghostly memories by arranging words into sequences. The mystery revolves around a vanished friend and a bloodstained home with no body. Gameplay leans into eerie atmosphere and fragmented storytelling, requiring you to reorder cryptic clues to uncover what happened. It’s a short experience but packed with tense moments and uncanny visuals. The game’s experimental approach to narrative stands out. Players describe it as emotionally charged, though the single "emotional" vote on the platform hints at its polarizing tone. While not long, its focus on psychological unease and abstract puzzle-solving makes it memorable for fans of quiet, thoughtful mysteries. The 2017 release still holds up as a bold, if brief, indie experiment.
