This Commodore crossword game lets you craft puzzles from scratch. Input words and their clues then watch the system attempt to arrange them into a grid. The algorithm offers multiple solutions but won't always place every term. Once satisfied you can print the result for others to solve. No hint of AI here just a basic logic engine doing its best with the constraints. Released in 1980 it predates modern puzzle creation tools by decades. Community data is scarce but it holds a cult status among retro computing circles. The simplicity of its design feels surprisingly ahead of its time for an 8-bit system. No graphics no frills just a functional tool wrapped in a game shell.
