Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony is a point-and-click adventure with platforming elements set on a mysterious island. You play as Hugh Radcliff, a 18th-century explorer figuring out the disappearance of a 16th-century colony. The game blends environmental puzzles, character interactions, and light exploration as you piece together fragmented clues about the island’s past. Choices influence outcomes, though the story remains linear. Frequent platforming sections break up dialogue-heavy investigation, requiring precise timing and jumps. The game leans into historical intrigue, using real-world legends to frame its fictional narrative. With 9 achievements and a 34.6% average unlock rate, it balances accessibility with challenge, many rewards hide behind tough platforming or overlooked puzzles. Available on PC, Switch, Xbox One, and Mac, it’s a self-contained mystery that prioritizes story over gameplay depth. While not particularly ambitious in scope, its atmospheric setting and colonial themes earn it a dedicated following among point-and-click fans.
A group of people who set out to establish the first settled colony in America in 1587, mysteriously disappears a short time after arriving. Now, different people live in Crowalt, where he came to solve this mystery. He will hover around the island and definitely will get in a series of troubles to find what happened to the Lost Colony.
